Porcelanosa: Spanish Design Celebrated


Porcelanosa celebrated the opening of its newest showroom in North Bethesda, Rockville on November 9th with renown Spanish Chef Jose Andres and Supermodel Valeria Mazza.

Spanish Ambassador Jorge Dezcallar was proud to show off the talent from his native land and encouraged continued collaboration between US and Spanish companies.

The number one chef in the United States, Jose Andres and his Think Food Group dazzled guests with a “Liquid Olive” demonstration and hours d’oeuvres including Tortillas de Patatas served inside perfectly carved egg shells on trays of grass blades, Endibias con Queso de Cabra y Naranjas and the popular bite sized Croquetas de Pollo.

 

Porcelanosa is one of the best-known Spanish companies worldwide. The company’s products, recognized for their extremely high quality and superb design, are exported to more than 80 countries all over the world through its own network of more than 400 showrooms.

The new showroom occupies an entire building at 11500 Rockville Pike, exclusively dedicated to displaying and selling products from the Group’s different companies. More than nine thousand square feet has been dedicated to exhibiting the very latest trends in wall and floor tiles, ultra-modern kitchens, elegant designs for floors in wood or natural stone, a complete range of bathroom furnishings and an innovative laboratory of ideas that integrates a unique library of materials for professionals of architecture and interior design to project their creations; in one of the area’s finest shopping districts, with easy access and less than twenty miles from Washington DC.
