Real Fashion met Real Housewives at the intersection of fashion, art and philanthropy at MODUS UNION 2010. DC’s most fashionable charity Labels for Love celebrated the synergies of the three on January 14th with MODUS UNION 2010, an unprecedented benefit for the Center for Heart, Lung and Kidney Disease at Children’s National Medical Center. Hosted at the prestigious Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, MODUS UNION featured an art infused cocktail reception with fashion inspired installations and auction highlighting the work of seven of DC’s notable artists as well as a live art showcase. Renowned fashion designer Lela Rose personally present her Spring/Summer 2010 collection hot off the New York Fashion Week catwalk in a formal runway presentation while A-list hair stylist and star of “What Not To Wear” Ted Gibson and his team from the Ted Gibson Salon, Chevy Chase created the looks inspired by the Lela Rose Collection.
Washington never looked more haute! Look for it on National TV sometime this fall (but you didn’t hear it from us:)
