We hit the ground running in May beginning with the private dinner and lecture with Luca Missoni of the legendary Italian design house at the Washington Design Center. Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel celebrated its first anniversary with a special RLife LIVE performance with jazz star Marcus Johnson and the launch of his new FLO Wine label. The Styleliner by Joey Wolffer rolled into DC filled with extraordinary accessories from around the world much to the delight of local fashionistas. Washingtonian Magazine Green Awards honored local environmental stars Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel. Renaissance Dupont feted the Spring/Summer 2012 RX Cocktails inspired by five notable Amanda McClements of Metrocurean, Svetlana Legetic of Brightest Young Things, Mark Depreau of Microsoft, Winston Lord of Venga and last year’s crowd favorite Rich Amons of The Real Housewives of DC. Our Month ended with a private presentation of Fashion Group Internationalâ of the Greater Washington, DC’s Fall/Winter 2012 Trends Presentation with the legendary fashion journalist Teri Agins of the Wall Street Journal.
